THE STORY OF THE MURAL FOR THE AT&T BUILDING IN LIVE OAK
In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, the Yuba Sutter Arts Council reached out to me with a problem. The artist whom they had commissioned to create a mural for the AT&T Building, Stephane Cellier, was stuck in France and unable to return to the United States due to COVID restrictions. They asked if I might be able to take Stephane's idea and bring it to life. I enthusiastically agreed and reached out to Stephane to discuss his vision of the mural. Meeting via zoom, Stephane explained his vision of this 3D Anamorphic Mural and together we discussed the details and strategies required for this piece. What transpired was the above mural, a collaboration of my hand and Stephane's idea.
