48 HOUR MURAL MARATHON COMPETITION
3RD PLACE WINNER
Sponsored by THE YUBA SUTTER ARTS COUNCIL, 5 artists were selected by a juried panel to compete in this 48 hour mural marathon. The artists had a window of 48 hours to complete their mural and compete for prize money. The competition ran from sunup to sundown. Each Mural depicts elements of the culture and history within the Live Oak Community.
The title of this mural is The Happy Peach Farmer. It reflects thriving the Sikh Community living in Live Oak and their integral contributions to farming and local culture.
